Hello from a fellow IVDD dog mom! Maizey looks like one happy gal, just like our Zora. 🥰 They’re real superheroes, aren’t they? I look forward to following her journey.

Ah, yes — the IVDD recovery destruction phase. I remember it well. Snooped and saw you are early in recovery after surgery — how is she and how are YOU doing? Fellow IVDD dog mom here; you have brighter days ahead. Zora sends kisses!

In the year I’ve been dogsitting others’ sweet ones, I’ve experienced the very sad passing of a few. As a dog mom and a trusted ally for these families, my heart breaks each time. Yesterday, sweet Zia crossed the rainbow bridge at nearly 16 years old. Fly high, sweet one.

You could never convince me dealing with humans is better than dogsitting for faces like these. Had a busy day with 6 visits, aside from spending time with my own girl (not pictured), but loved every second of it and truly feel like what I did mattered. 🥰🫶🐶 #dogsitter #daywellspent

Okay, okay… here’s the center of my (and her dad’s) universe. Zora recently turned 6, was abandoned at 6 months old (at which point we adopted), is an IVDD survivor and was also diagnosed with Addison’s disease this past year. This pup — the sun in my sky — is one tough, little cookie. 💪🏻🍪

Ended one era. Let’s see what else happens. Would love to connect with like-minded, sane humans and/or rescue dog moms. Because we all like dogs better than humans, don’t we? 🐶
