Yeah, I get what you're saying. I'm hoping that someday we'll have a better country with better protections against something like this happening again. The founders did a great job, in general, but they couldn't foresee what we now know.

This happens when you pay ICE thugs by their body count and not by their accuracy in detaining criminals. They get paid the same for the capture no matter if it's a criminal, a 5-yr-old, a disabled individual on the way to the doctor, or a US citizen born and bred here who is in the wrong place.

The people who didn't think this would happen are in the minority (barely) and had the hubris to think this was impossible with our checks and balances. Other countries are showing the beginnings of this same error. Be careful! It can happen anywhere & those who want it play the long game.

I don't get "petulant" until I receive angry replies from ignorant posters. Most of us didn't vote for this but somehow you don't know that. Many of us are risking our lives to stop things. But you go ahead and whine.

I never ask for ideas until posters throw accusations about how little they think im doing. When you tell someone to do more and you haven't a clue what is happening and what they're already involved with, then you should be ready to give ideas. You show you know nothing about what we're doing here.

Throwing accusations isn't the same as expressing an opinion. I hope people support you when times are tough like you have the individuals of the US.

Give me specifics. Tell me what I am doing, what i am risking, and what I should do going forward. Not sure why you're angry tho. After all, you're protecting your country, right? You are doing what's needed to save your way of life. If not, why not?

Honey, saying "you figure it out" is just another way to say you haven't a clue. Your country may have made a decision but it was done by powers that be, not you. Then people in organizational roles decided how the public should act, not you. You speak loudly and take credit for what others did.

You haven't been paying attention. EVERYDAY there are many of us protesting. Boycotts are happening but not making the news. Unfortunately our media is big corps bought and paid for by trump. So you really have to search to see what's being done when you're not in it.

Unfortunately, being sure you wouldn't is the first step to doing it. Don't make that mistake. Trump won by a plurality, not a majority. I hope it never happens to another country. Learn rather than feeling smug.

I meant my last reply was 2/3. The other problem is there was no mention of what part of the pop was evaluated. In the US, all children are included in evals whether disabled or not. That is often not done in other places. Adult pops may be the same. Also Canada & UK didn't do much better.

I went to the source your source used (you used a regional private college who didn't do the research). It doesn't delineate citizen adults so prob included non-cits who often come from countries with lower education. If the eval to measure literacy was in English, that's also a factor. (1/3)
