There was a press announcement of an exceptional LVK discovery GW250114 by Rahul Kashyap. The event also included a fun GW Science games session and a public talk by Sanjeev Dhurandhar. The programme was attended by a large enthusiastic audience and was featured in news articles

The discussion relived the moments of the first detection and history of the GW astronomy in India, explained GW Science and multi-messenger astronomy, provided information about the LIGO-India project as well as the future of GW astronomy and planned Indian space-missions

The highlight of the event was a panel discussion, moderated by LIEPO Chair in conversation with reputed senior scientists from the LISC as panelists, including P. Ajith, Archana Pai, Anand Sengupta, Subroto Mukherjee, Sanjit Mitra and Rajesh Kumble Nayak.
