Land lawyer and part time pedant. I like stuff that grows.
And it does go to the heart of the legislative process. I suppose I felt sorry for the civil servant trying to explain the pile of sh*t.

Ok. Hard to put that across in the format of this platform though.

A big question around leasehold reform is the extent that leasehold homeowners have been missold a product by the legal and property development industry over many decades.

I don't think they should, but legislators influenced by lobbyists decided otherwise.

So why ask how they stop people dying in fires?

These forms, however, are only about who pays. Other parts of the BSA are about who fixes the risks already in buildings and how to ensure the risks in new buildings are reduced.

They won't do it. They will consult the proposals into oblivion or, at best, produce something feeble and ineffective. The Building Safety Act and its associated secondary legislation is drafted appallingly. There is little hope that leasehold reform will be done any better.

The BBC are behaving disgracefully, this is a total non story .. if there ever was an investigation, there was no disciplinary action. It’s just some disgruntled employee (if indeed they even exist). As for Bandwagon Badenoch, once again she opens her mouth & spouts utter rubbish..

His choice of words suggests that the former exists while the latter doesn't.

I am also number 4 because at 6 foot 4 my knees can't physically fit in the inner seat unless I keep them up under my chin. All you have to do is ask and I'll stand up to let you have that seat.

Charles I died after a civil war that cost the lives of up to 4.5% of the population.

Interesting. We (or at least I) tend to assume that what was there when I was young was eternal and recent changes are transient. What was the nature of the restructuring between LPTB, LTE and LTB? Was it more than a change of name? Was branding "London Transport" throughout?

Are these tests being carried out on a control group of people not experiencing symptoms? If not it is conceptually flawed. Long COVID may be a mind body syndrome like fibromyalgia or ME.

Had to intervene because of good governance?
