And now on earth they scanned some new vehicle and of course the two looked at each other and they looked just like Optimus and Megatron, which bring back some bad memories what happen on cybertron

But then when Orion became a prime we all know today, Optimus, the twins respected him and the choices the councel made, but Megatronnus sort of felt betrayed by the twins and wanted to end them. Luckily, Optimus did save them in time.

Canon context :

When the twins were forged/created, Orion took them in as a parental/mentor figure to them, even met Megatronnus that Crim started to train with because he had a build of a gladiator, he sort of been also a parental figure if we can say-
