I don't get the tea thing that afflicts my compatriots. It strikes me as being a bit like reverence for the monarchy.

When the article talks about it not being reported in the same way that a factory closure would, they aren't wrong. This article is the only time I've seen it in the news that isn't from the trades.

It is the worst I've know it in 20 years. I'm managing, but I'm having conversations with people who have been struggling, and hearing of people that have been really struggling for over a year.

Personally, I was always awed by Kevin Costner's thoroughly authentic Nottinghamshire accent in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.
Unfortunately non of the locals speak with that accent anymore.
