Looks like a scene from some dystopian movie yet it's found in paradise. There is no single cause and there is no single solution. There are scenes like this scattered around the island and many of them are hidden deep beyond the tree lines. As one is eventually cleaned up, another is growing.

A photo of the sky shot in a reflection of water through a chain link fence. In post processing I applied lots of clarity (a processing setting) to bring back the lines caused by the fence.
Something may appear simple, but the objects in place that are used for control leave their mark.
