Yep, there's been several cases I remember seeing over the years. Cops are not good shots. Then there's the cases of friendly fire.

I wish more people would take a class on basic security practices. Don't use stupid phone pin, don't write down your password, don't use biometrics, encryption. Not 100% but helps.
