This helps me see why people are buzzing about this changing the economy. If anyone can whip up a custom interface that looks nice and works reliably, there may be fewer app dev jobs in future. If prices stay low, it really could democratize coding. Some of that could be good - wait and see.

I was able to put this together in probably less than 12 hours total stretched over a bit more than a weekend. I never had to read any of the documentation for the dependent packages. Even when the bot got things wrong, saying "Tell me how this works so I can figure out a fix" got the job done.

This is good for me owning my data. Commercial calorie tracking apps never had a clean export option, and the AI was all to happy to oblige. Of course, I'm a bit conflicted about the ethics around AI, but since it's not going anywhere and I'm working in similar spaces, better to understand it.

It took a bit of work to get everything to fit within a reasonable number of characters. Luckily there were some Elm packages for encoding bytes into base 64 strings, so I could mostly just focus on the numbers. It was a lot of mapping floats onto 16 bit ints, since the smallest float was 32 bits.
