I really want to pick this up. My kid likes playing Battletech but we don’t get it to the table too often because they prefer coop games. So this box seems ideal for us.

The past year has honestly made me regret that I’m not a lawyer. All the battles for our future are currently happening in the courts.
The only consolation is how inept the people representing Trump’s regime seem to be.

If you don’t live in the USA, it’s important to understand our major media outlets have been systematically bought up by ultra wealthy conservatives. And the Fairness Doctrine that regulated media bias was killed in the 80s. Most Americans see the stories that the wealthy want them to see.

At this point, I have no reason to believe Democrats won't somehow screw that up as well. Or the supposed yes votes on the GOP side will have a change of heart now.

In his first term, Trump was surrounded by more traditional Republicans who helped moderate his worst impulses. Those people are all gone now, and it’s only sycophants left, who will do anything he tells them to while simultaneously feeding him misinformation and preying on his stupidity.

This is another reason they’re ok with the shutdown. They can blame their atrocious economy on the shutdown, which in turn they can desperately try to blame on the democrats. Tank the economy while absolving themselves of blame. Same as it ever was.

Over a million votes FOR Mamdani. And yes, an establishment democrat from a political family who refused to drop out was a draw. Name recognition matters. Millions of dollars were poured into Cuomo’s campaign.

Highest voter turnout for mayor in half a century. First NYC mayor to get over a million votes since the 60s. But, sure, it’s the percentages that really matter if they fit your narrative better.
