i like to imagine this is a scene demonstrating the British attitude of smiling through hard times. the ad is set in 2036 and the country has descended into civil war. the lights are off in the school because the Cornish airforce are bombing Sutton & a blackout law is in effect

Won't say anything at all about the plot because it's best watched with no idea what's going on.

But there's more beautiful visually inventive story telling in that first episode than in most movies
