Oh, thank you for saying so!! It doesn't match up perfectly with that post - think much less "purposefully" - but the similarity did make me laugh... I was actually just thinking about revisiting that WIP the other day so this will inspire me!
In the meantime, here's a preview:
“There has been a mistake.” The man puffed out a laugh as he leaned against the frame of his front door, too much white showing around his left eye for the airy pitch of his voice. “A terrible, terrible mistake,” he repeated, and ran a hand over his blond fringe, two- three- five times, ensuring it stayed plastered firmly across his right eye. “Hah?” Replied the man standing on the other side of the door. Actually, it was not a matter of one single mistake. The first mistake was that this man was huge - not so much that he was tall, barely an inch taller than the blond, if that, but instead hulking, so broad it was a surprise he’d even made it through the apartment complex’s front doors. His preposterous girth could be credited to the tanned and most certainly illicitly-enhanced muscles bulging out around the deep V of his threadbare tank. Which was mistake number two. The guy was dressed like he’d decided to squeeze this visit between gym sets, and judging from the pit stains, it’s highly possible he had. The sun’d set hours ago yet he still hadn’t taken off his shades, his slouchy joggers and scuffed sneakers didn't read so much expensive aspirational athleisure but rather laundry day, and the whole ensemble was topped off with a half-grown-out neon fucking green buzz cut. The request had been petite, demure, comely, and this was about as far from that as a human being could physically get. And yes, of course, the final mistake- “You’re supposed to be a fuckin’ girl,” the blond hissed, pulling the apartment door almost but not quite closed behind him. Arms crossed, glancing about nervously, he attempted to herd the green gorilla into the corner of the hallway, lest any of his neighbours step outside and see them - but the stranger seemed immovable and totally unbothered by the other man’s proximity, attention instead fixed on his phone he’d just whipped out of his pocket. “News to me,” he droned. Brows arched in a show of indifference before they furrowed back down, he turned his gaze and phone both towards the other man. “Sanji Vinsmoke?”

I can play anywhere between the ages of 20 and 29 depending on if I shave. I'm a line cook and work late nights at a bar. If you'd like to have me as your strictly platonic date for Thanksgiving, but have me pretend to be in a very long or serious relationship with you, to torment your family, I'm game. I can do these things, at your request: Openly hit on other female guests while you act like you don't notice. Start instigative [sic] discussions about politics and/or religion. Propose to you in front of everyone. Pretend to be really drunk as the evening goes on (sorry, I don't drink, but I used to. A lot. Too much in fact. I know the drill).
