They deleted their account so no one has evidence which allows them to frame it like they got censored. A lot of people were also really fed up by their posts.

The sub changed a lot in the past months because people feel like they are listened to by SE which means they are more aware of forced negativity and bad faith criticism. That person tried to spread misinformation in the comments of a thread and got called out by people which ended in a crashout.

But that's all just things I have heard. I personally don't know more than that it is either one person or a group of people who had meltdowns over Venat on the official forum + Twitter.

Someone told me that even the people who agreed with them told them "Maybe you should get some help". I hope that someone comes out who was in contact with that person because that behavior is not normal.

I genuinely don't understand what went wrong with his voters. They throw away their dignity and also safety of our kids by voting a pedo just to "own" the "woke mob". I am just speechless...

Kinda wild that his supporters are realizing this now. So many people that are either just shitty, got gaslit or voted him to "own the libs". Recently, I saw an article of a family who moved to russia because they were afraid of the "woke intdoctrination" in the US. The US is a tragedy...

Sometimes I wonder if people like the person who made that Twitter post actually care about the game. Like making a big list with issues but then belittling players for enjoying the game is insanely tone-deaf. Wouldn't someone that cares about the game advocate for a healthy community and feedback?

I feel like some people do not understand that european armors/fashion just looked like this in the late medieval/renaissance. Seeing people calling it conquistador aesthetic is very insulting and frustrating to see.

He's very aware of the common complaints, and while I didn't really have the right spot to put it in the interview, it's clear that Dawntrail's struggles frustrate him just as much as the playerbase. Sometimes the way the team intends content to be received isn't how it lands.

I think many people rely on heuristics to more easily justify why certain things are happening the way they are. That's just my observation from following the more critical parts of the fandom. The community doesn't have the same insight into game development as the developers.
