Not an Anne Rice fan, so The Mayfair Witches was never going to be read or watched. Interview With The Vampire was amazingly original & fascinating but each subsequent book was increasingly tedious. I did finish reading The Vampire Lestat, but never was able to force myself through any of the rest.

I believe that eye contact is sufficient from an employee, and a nod or mild smile if the employee feels like it. Any of those are enough to make that employee approachable if I need help.

I downloaded it, started it, but didn't get far. No shade on your story but I detest reading using the Kindle app or any of those reader platforms. I don't know what it is about them, but I gotta do my fun reading while holding a paper product. Give me a book or magazine any day over and e-anything.

I won't go that long without using a starter (and feeding it then of course) but I don't like to bake in the summer because it gets so hot. Maybe if I had an outdoor oven.. but I don't.

I have been reading the adventures of @neqone.bsky.social with his 4-year-old never-feed starter and I am going to see if I can figure out how it works for him and do the same. He's got one that he hasn't fed for 4 years.

I foolishly threw out my last bunch of starter because it had a little mold on top. I should have attempted to resurrect it. Well, it got composted and the new one is looking good.
