The Museum aan de Stroom has a collection of items from the oldest gay bar in Antwerp, Cafe Strange, which was open for 60 years before closing in 2022. The plaque on usual display notes that MAS keeps a collection of LGBTQ+ heritage so that queer art and history is not lost.
