It's hard to find quality books that my bilingual kiddos love to read, BUT I came across the School of Monsters translation by Sally Rippin, and my 1st grader is HOOKED!
The plots are fun (and funny!)and engaging. He ❤️ the first 2 so much he asked for more! 10000% recommend these in Eng or Spanish.

It's hard to find quality books that my bilingual kiddos love to read, BUT I came across the School of Monsters translation by Sally Rippin, and my 1st grader is HOOKED!

In August, I challenged my 6 and 8yo to read 50 books before the end of the year with a reward of going to an amusement park.
My 8yo has dyslexia and my 6yo is just learning, so this was a lofty goal for them. Today they finished!
I loved seeing them motivate and cheer each other on 💛

I'll follow up my 8yo's negative Charlotte's Web review with her opinion on this gem of a series (the title in English is the same).
She LOVED it! It made her laugh, gasp, and say, "What is she thinking!" It was the perfect book for her to kick off summer vacation with.
