Nosferatu has me thinking where Skarsgård’s Count Orlok ranks among the best Dracula’s. I think he’s definitely Top 10 and certainly the best Dracula I’ve seen in a long time.

Nosferatu has me thinking where Skarsgård’s Count Orlok ranks among the best Dracula’s. I think he’s definitely Top 10 and certainly the best Dracula I’ve seen in a long time.
While its artsy/elevated horror vibe is occasionally overbearing, Nosferatu (2024) is pretty damn good and a worthy remake of the 1922 original. The visuals are crazy and the performances are rock solid, especially Skarsgård who once again disappears completely into his role.

Thanksgiving is better than every Scream movie. Every bit as good a murder mystery and ensemble cast as the best of that series but the humor and kills are better.

A Nightmare on Elm Street could be improved with a remake.
I have a lot of nostalgic love for the OG but after rewatching it lately, it’s got big flaws, namely spotty acting (Englund aside of course), soap opera-level dialogue and a messy ending.
Good movie but not great imo.

Definitely a good one to remake, given the original, while fun, isn’t exactly a great movie.
