We should fight for any gender discrimination in science and anywhere by teaching the erased history. If there is one such place can you let me know? I am very interested.

The post was a narrow-view of the gender minority landscape in science but one can still find inspiration of the work women did against the tides of cultural propriety.maybe it can inspire to do something similar for other gender minorities as what #WomenInSTEM is doing if there isnt one already.

I have never had such a fun and stimulated conversation with a human. Which is very telling and very sad of me.

It is ridiculous how they said they don't exist to their faces..... Isn't it crazier to deny the actual reality for the made-up reality they have? So delusional. I am not LGBTQI+, but I am a sane and logical person.

He was working on continuing the Henry Draper Catalog. The amount of data that needed processing, the prospect of cheap labour, and his wife's recommendation about the intelligence of their maid were likely the incentives to hire said maid. Her name: Williamina Fleming.

I couldn't even finish reading this article, the nonsense was too much. I don't know his academic background but it is like he doesnt know science and research at all. Whatever point he wanted to make, I didnt get it at all.....

The series will try to, at least name, every female astronomer who contributed to the Harvard Observatory during those years. I want to call them all astronomers instead of computers, as they are referred to. I am aware that some were volunteers and worked for short periods but they all contributed.

When I heard the story of how it all started I thought it was funny, sad, and inspiring, but as I looked more into it, the women are still referred to as computers or harem and always as monolith. So I wanted to put their names out there.
