Nonexpert take from the #TikTokBan hearings: if this is indeed a national security issue in which our info + data is leveraged by an adversary, then why are we okay w/ Temu + SHEIN? These shopping sites are also algorithm-driven + leverage user-behavior. Should they not be considered as well?
