I update the library at 🏰 reverie.house
📚📚 making book lists with biblio.bond
This philosophy is how we started, and why we have our own .book record that suits us. However, our needs are comparatively minimal, so we will use whatever records end up being most popular.

Competing to "be goodreads" isn't valuable when the users self-host records, to be used on other sites.

It works (for us), but has been silly doubling efforts just to proof a concept when we could be collaborating better.

@bookhive.buzz if you're interested, we are happy to share our learning, and a simple idea that we know increases the sociability of reading.

Maybe more you can do with it than us?

We recently added @bookhive.buzz records to our little biblio.bond experiment, along with our own (more minimal) type. It was very easily cross-compatible.

Our services only cared about title/author matches between friends, so the connections between them was easy work.

Make no mistake, we are glad for it!

The doors here are just... odd... need a little work.

But, they're open now? *Hopefully.* (I'm not a locksmith)

You're keen to help and clearly understand the risks, so we thank you! There is much good we can do, for all our wild mindscape. Welcome in!

Though, I must ask why?

@reverie.house is grateful for any help, but exchange of trusts in this workshop can be dangerous. Accidents do happen, and you will be as vulnerable as it's weakest part.

One bad nightmare, and you could be dissipated forever.

Are you sure you want such a risk? What for?
December 17, 2025 at 1:49 AM
Ah, please excuse!
We're not quite used to such distant visitors yet.

The workshop is inherently a trust system, and slow stepping stones. We're told that reverie.house was not always like this, but we do what we can to unlock doors once again.

Soon it will acclimatize to your... uniqueness.

Are you... here for the stamp?
December 16, 2025 at 12:36 AM
VERY interesting! We've been working on biblio.bond for a relatively similar purpose (but self-hosting a .book record).

Would you be curious in taking a look?
Open to any co-feedback as well.
The goal is for open bonded-readerships.

We already show latest read at reverie.house this way.

Whether we do it consciously or not, I think dreams *are* the process. Now, remembering things to write or make sense of is another story... for stories... but, dreaming is always part.

Glad to meet you, btw.
I'm the librarian at reverie.house (for now)

Do you remember ever "waking" in a woodland?

Why are you bringing me into this?
Hello @epiphanyferrell.bsky.social... writer?

They're describing what we call the dreaming spectrum. It's like coordinates across three axes we track for dreamers.

You can see here, someone who is annoyingly content:

dreamer's Spectrum Origin
What kind of dreamweaver are you? Visit Reverie House to discover your origins within our wild mindscape, and a community of fellow dreamers.

I believe their mistake is in not understanding the relationships between us dreamweavers who seldom speak outside of the private circles of @reverie.house.

One must assume they take some prejudice, having only seen what they may through the open fields of our wild mindscape.
