[TEXT (left to right, top to bottom)] As a whole, Typha is based off of a cat keyboard toy. Her color scheme mimicks a faded, well-loved version of said toy. Alongside the toy influence, her tunic/outer layer are based on the keyboard cat video/meme (notably in color and loose fit). [TEXT (left to right, top to bottom)] Blue tunic generally stays on, but can be removed to show this layer. Underclothes are a snug fitting spandexy material, similar to how some exercise clothes are. Paw pads!!! (Tragically no beans though. Such is the sacrifice that must be made in order to have good finger dexterity.) Cropped short with high collar & heart cutout :) High waisted shorts (tail goes through the back) Simple black flats [TEXT (left to right, top to bottom)] MIC DETAILS Typha has a microphone (in homage to the og toy) that rests in an indent in her upper back. It amplifies sound by a fair bit, generally varying in volume via the given situation. I used a toy I had as a kid as inspiration, since it handled a similar indent that could hold the bow part of the toy. (The specific toy was the Fisher Price Bach 'n Roll. Very neat lil thing!!!) Mic in its indent/compartment BOTTOMS OF FEET Peets get the full paw treatment!! Colors of the beans & pads are based on the toy's paw buttons. (Pay no mind to the fact that the paw colors are flipped lol) TATTOO Typha has a tattoo-esqe mark on her outer left thigh that is usually covered by her clothing. The mark takes inspiration from the way plastic toys will sometimes have things (e.g. the name of the child it belongs to) written on them in sharpie, and how those sharpie marks will fade with time and wear while still remaining. "Sehnsucht" is a German word that roughly translates to longing or yearning, but with a strong, deep intensity. I see it as an almost desperate desire that great yearning can hold within it; wanting something with your entire soul that remains outside of your current grasp. It's a word that means a lot to me!!! Make of that what you will ; ] [TEXT (left to right)] [Note: the face here is old, but the expressions are still fairly accurate! (Might remake in the future)] Hair kinda phases in from the head?? Standard/default mouth shape Semi-transparent whiskers; jagged/lightning bolt shape to look similar to sound waves Cheek markings have dots/freckles akin to speakers Keyboard/piano teeth!! Shows in expressions where teeth are prominent/noticable
