This was a good one. The perfect thick summer read with kids, drunk adults and an accident at camp. Stay out of the woods everybody and read a book. #booksky

Finished this last week. A fun adventure novel with a slightly unreliable narrator about the Alaska gold rush. A bit slow in parts but interesting #booksky

@miawong.bsky.social Thank you for reminding me of Guy Debord! Obama touched on his analysis in a speech a few years ago (without naming him directly). But yes, the spectacle isn't real life, and we must participate in society rather than replicating it and commenting on it.

TN ranks #36 in literacy - how bout you focus on that? Or lowering the number of fatal deaths by overdose? Or possibly lowering the cost of eggs? Wasn't this all about eggs?

Did an Irish goodbye on FB and Insta - closed and deleted. As a middle-aged woman I couldn't handle the diet-weightloss-beauty-plastic surgery content that was shown to me on a daily basis. I just wanted to keep in touch with friends.
