Even my worst body insecurities are no match for a picture of me reading/singing to stuffed animals. Simply too cute not to post.
I’m in the mid ground, sitting on a stool, facing the camera, and reading a picture book that is facing out toward the “audience” of stuffed animals in the foreground. I’m making an intense, dramatic face. You cannot see the stuffed animals’ faces to see if they’re enjoying the story or not. I’m sitting on a stool facing an “audience” of stuffed animals. I’m puffing out my cheeks and starting to mime blowing a gum bubble. The animals don’t look like they’ll be doing the motions of this song with me.

Today we had a Stuffie Sleepover at the library, and tbh the best part were all the teens who volunteered to help pose the stuffies for pictures. 🥰 Here’s a little BTS moment trying to get a “storytime” pic:

Last night I hosted a “When Harry Met Sally” watch party and made an excessive amount of food for 6 people.
A table set with cheese board, charcuterie, a pecan pie, cookies, and a bowl of caramel popcorn. A table set with a pile of spoons and forks with bowls, a stockpot, a glass pie plate with a potato side dish, glasses, a carafe of apple cider, soda bottles, and candlesticks. A gold bar cart set with various beverages and accessories including a silver ice bucket, gold straws, garnishes, and a fake lavender plant.

If you (like me) need some library joy today:
A large piece of black butcher is hung on the wall entitled “Dino Showdown.” It is divided into nine sections, each with the name and picture of a different dinosaur. Colorful dot stickers in the nine boxes represent votes for each of the nine dinosaurs. The T-Rex is clearly winning.
