When I was doing my MS-IS, I wrote and studied a lot on the role of libraries as a Third Place. I think being a sociology undergrad really helped me synthesize concepts surrounding the social importance of libraries. Thank you for your mini essay! 💙📚

Ooh this one is gonna have to be my next one. One of my favorite books we ever read in high school English. I was a bit disappointed with how much of Go Set A Watchman was regurgitated scenes from TKAM. It reads so much more like a first draft of TKAM.

Paris has anxiety. That's it. That's the story. He's insufferable, and culturally insensitive toward his Muslim boyfriend. The side characters were great, but it was definitely a rage read for me, and I say that as a reader with anxiety 🙃

I really liked 10 Things That Never Happened by Alexis Hall! I got an ARC of Paris Daillencourt Is About to Crumble and that one fell a bit flat for me, but overall I really enjoy Alexis Hall's work!
