Para quienes conocen la situación del tráfico en la #Rotonda Robert #Schuman y además entienden #castellano, no sé si el nombre de la empresa, combinado con el eslogan en inglés, les resultará muy tranquilizador. 😅
Una valla de obra cubre parte de una calle en una zona moderna de Bruselas. La valla tiene una lona de colores beige y rojo con el logotipo “COLAS” y el lema en inglés “We open the way” (“Abrimos el camino”). Detrás se ve un gran edificio de cristal y metal con forma curva: el Berlaymont, sede de la Comisión Europea. De mens en de chimpansee zitten eigenlijk nog dichter op elkaar.

Dat is ook weer waar. Maar de geslachten Pycnodonte en Ostrea zitten toch vrij dicht op elkaar.

I saw #Eddington this afternoon. Based on the trailer and what I read about it, I had high expectations. But actually, I found the film uninteresting, silly and brutal. And I don‘t know what message director Ari #Aster was trying to convey. But maybe that‘s because I‘m not #American.

Vandaag bracht ik een #iPad 2 (2011) en een iPad mini 4 (2015) naar de #Apple Store voor #recyclage. Ik verwachtte niet er nog iets voor te krijgen en dat was ook zo. Ze worden in Tsjechië ontmanteld door een robot die #Daisy heet. Dat vertelde de goedlachse Sebastian van de Apple Store me.
De afbeelding toont twee verschillende Apple iPads. Links zie je de iPad 2 uit 2011. Er zijn drie aanzichten: van voren, van achteren en van opzij. Wist je dat in oud handschrift de g en de h sterk op elkaar konden lijken. Waarbij de h ook een krul naar beneden en de g een krul naar boven had. Hier wat voorbeelden. Dat staat echter los van de kwestie van de uitspraak van beide letters door West-Vlamingen.

Een leylandgetal is in de getaltheorie een getal van de vorm xʸ + yˣ (waarbij x, y > 1).

De eerste leylandgetallen zijn: 8 (2² + 2²), 17 (2³ + 3²), 32 (2⁴ + 4²), 54 (3³ + 3³), 57 (2⁵ + 5²), 100 (6² + 2⁶). Het eerste leylandpriemgetal is 17.
