A teacher in the Spring Cove School District was put on administrative leave for comments she made in the wake of Charlie Kirk’s death. This same school district did nothing when a teacher made headlines for comparing Obama to a Nazi.

A rare-ish Virginia snow day ❄️❄️

I grew up in a small town 20 minutes from Altoona, PA - which is where we meant when we said we were “going into town”. So I can say with confidence that this is exactly what it was like.

We decorated our Christmas tree this evening. The boys put all their ornaments in one section of the tree. I’m ornament placement obsessive compulsive. It’s not a great combo. After they went to bed I redecorated it leaving any special ornaments in the original location.

I typically avoid posting religious content because I’m a very flawed messenger but as I become more frustrated with the high-jacking of Christianity by the far right this really resonated with me.
