@coe.int standards on #elections include binding obligations for all countries, to ensure the right to #freeelections as set out in #ECHR. The work done by CoE can be understood through the #electoralcycle which provides a guide 2 each step in an electoral process. More 👇

This year, the EU’s first legislation to combat violence against women entered into force, criminalizing physical, psychological, economic, and sexual violence.

We will continue to do everything possible to protect victims and punish offenders.
