And that is why it's important to call out bigotry anywhere. We must continue to speak (while we still can) for those who are currently being disappeared, defamed, and deported by a sexist and racist administration that looks at non-white men and sees nothing but criminals. 8/8

This is more than misandry; intersectionality is not just about the unique experiences that come from combining multiple identities and social categories, but also the discrimination that comes from combining racism, sexism, nationalism, and other forms of bigotry. 7/8

It also looks like an entire political movement supporting human rights violations against people they do not know and who have never been convicted of a crime, simply because they are men of a certain age and have a certain skin color. 6/8

This often looks like Riley Gaines or J.K. Rowling or Nancy Mace saying that anyone they determine to be a man is inherently dangerous and should not even be permitted in the same room as a woman, insinuating that males as a sex are a threat. 5/8

It very often takes the form of determining who is or is not "manly" or "masculine" enough. This is based on standards of how a man sits, stands, eats, drinks, his sexual preferences and appetite, or the policies and politicians he supports. 2/8
