The Senate Republicans are now using the same “magic math” as Trump and Tariffs to create a 2025 budget bill that uses smoke and mirrors to show it doesn’t have a significant impact on the deficit. They also are bypassing the Senate parliamentarian because they know they are breaking the rules.

Just made my daily calls to my two State Senators asking why funding for popular things like libraries, museums and National Parks are being cut by DOGE. These three things are popular with Americans and are not part of waste and fraud. I just don’t get why they hate what Americans enjoy. Dumb.

I am an identical twin and my brother and I are on opposite ends of political spectrum. We went to the same High School, College and Graduate school and were together all the time until our late 20’s. He became more involved in Catholicism at that time as I was questioning my beliefs.

Decided to cancel My Amazon Prime membership today in protest of Bezos and his support of Trump and his policies and they sure don’t make it easy. You have to call them to cancel immediately otherwise the only option on the website is to cancel on your renewal date.

Elon Musk and a few dozen very young (19-24)tech acolytes have quietly seized control of Treasury software that manages all Federal expenditures. A small coup and our elected officials are no where to be seen. Musk is now running the country as he controls the federal funding.

We all need to take a deep breath and try not to be overwhelmed by Trump right now. His strategy is to create chaos everyday to overwhelm us so we simply accept his grab for power. I have had to limit my daily exposure to news for my own mental health. Pace yourself. We need to stay energized.

Just participated in a Christmas parade in North Charleston and it was joyous and fun and represents the America I want to live in. What an amazing diverse city and everyone coming together to celebrate the Christmas holiday. This is the country I want to fight for.
