The cat has spent four hours napping, bathing, and stretching this morning. It's about 19°F (-7°C) outside right now, so I get it. Enjoy this half stretching/half bathing moment.

Temps this week are supposed to get into single digits and even negative at night (°F). I don't know if the heat pad will be enough for that. So I got a light meant for lizards to bask in - a little 75 watt daylight bulb. I turned it up so the light wouldn't bother the cat and added a thermometer 🧵

Just some peaceful sleep. So peaceful that for 45 minutes, my camera picked up no movement whatsoever despite the cat being in there. I'd guess that's fairly rare for an outdoor cat.

Unbothered by last night's dust-up with the tuxedo cat, the black cat came in this morning for an efficent self-defense practice and then hit the showers.

My smallest cat - Tattoo - with my biggest cat - Grendel. At a bit over 20 lbs, Grendel would probably test positive for bear DNA.
Tattoo is 9 lbs fully grown. She and Goblin were the runts of their litter.
