But if this represents his beliefs, how does he end up in the situation that he has?
Are the rules wrong?

It is the primary choice for all public school kids that failed to get into Oxbridge. I'm not actually sure that there's any other place quite like it in that sense.
If you want posh failures with a grievance about poor kids stealing what's rightfully theirs, it's a natural recruiting ground.

It is the primary choice for all public school kids that failed to get into Oxbridge. I'm not actually sure that there's any other place quite like it in that sense.
