Dear Dad,

Hey, MAGA loyalists, he’s calling you fools now because you want transparency in what he’s calling the “Epstein Hoax.” You either support a child rapist or you come back to reality.

Which is it?

If there’s no means to preempt Trump from holding office, re 14th Amendment, I believe the instant he pardons anyone convicted of seditious conspiracy, a lawsuit should be filed, eventually ending with a vote in both chambers to uphold the disqualification.

Presidents can pardon whom they please. Pardons do not absolve guilt. By promising pardons to J6 seditious conspirators, he is giving aid and comfort to convicted enemies of the USA.

Sec3 14th Amendment is clear that oath takers providing that aid are prohibited from holding office.

Sec 3 14th Amendment is unambiguous as well. Promises to pardon convicted seditious conspirators is giving aid and comfort to convicted enemies of the US. He’s doing so before entering office and it’s clearly a disqualifying violation of the amendment.

Pardons do NOT absolve guilt, they confirm it.

Especially now that he has promised to “aid and comfort” convicted enemies of the USA (convicted seditious conspirators) on Day One in direct violation of the 14th Amendment sec 3.

I’m no lawyer or Constitutional scholar, but doesn’t pardoning J6 seditious conspirators count as “giving aid or comfort to the enemies thereof”

A pardon is not an overturn of a court determination. In fact, it requires admission of guilt.

I’m a fan from way back, but it still makes me sad when I realize Devo was right all along, i.e. We’re all devo.
