Today Tewkesbury voted to protect your human rights.

Thank you for the honour.

This week I collaborated with The New Plough in Tewkesbury, to raise money for @prostatecanceruk.bsky.social.

Our "Beat the MP" pool competition raised £165 for this excellent charity.

We know Rachel. Now please stop pandering to the tiny minority of people who somehow still believe in it, and get us something better.

I was honoured last week to meet with the Ukrainian Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, and the Deputy Minister of Economy.

Alongside @helenmaguiremp.bsky.social and @nataliegreenpeer.bsky.social, we spoke at length regarding the value of de-mining to Ukraine's economic output.

In occupied Ukraine, toys like these stuffed with plastic explosives, are left by Russian soldiers.

This is terrorism, sanctioned by the Russian state.

Once Russia is defeated, it must never be able to wage such a war on its peaceful neighbours again.

Russia has left Ukraine the most mine contaminated country in the world.

This week I visited some active minefields with the teams tasked with clearing them up. 🇺🇦🇬🇧

A timely reminder that Boris Johnson's Conservatives used the pandemic to funnel YOUR money into a secret network of friends and party donors.

It's a "No" from me on Digital ID.

I don't trust the next Elon Musk with my data, and I don't trust them with yours.

In this digital age where AI and deepfakes are everywhere online, and where data is regularly hacked and exploited, can we afford to keep it all in one place?

Like a low budget Baywatch knock-off, this morning I ran down Bournemouth seafront and joined fellow Liberal Democrats and @sascampaigns.bsky.social in a swim to the end of the pier.

I have to say, the water was lovely. If only that was the norm.

This morning @helenmaguiremp.bsky.social and I visited the War Memorial in Bournemouth.

Helen is a fellow retired Military Police Officer, having served with the Royal Military Police while I served with the RAF Police.

Imagine Musk's shame when he wakes up from the K-Hole and remembers the time he challenged Zuckerberg to an MMA fight and then chickened out.

Nationalism is not patriotism, and intolerance is not courage.

Read the room, then lead the room.

I will not be dragged to the right by media hysteria over immigration. It remains an issue which demands respect and compassion.

The government must take care not to join the Conservative Party and Reform UK in the abyss.

"Peace in our time".

We are on the cusp of a historic misjudgement akin to Chamberlain's appeasement, as Donald Trump risks inadvertently enticing Putin and Xi into a kinetic war.

Putin must receive no concessions.

Ukraine must win.

It took 382 days for Labour to implement the Lib Dem manifesto pledge to abolish Ofwat.

If they crack on with implementing the rest of it, they'll turn the country around in no time.

It's a small step in the right direction, but in opposition, the Lib Dems will keep the pressure on.

"War crime, after war crime, after war crime. A message to the world: "Do not intervene. Do not observe what we are doing to the Palestinians"".

This government has talked for too long. The world wants action.

I invited the Foreign Secretary to recognise the state of Palestine...

He declined.

Rest in peace Charles Augins.
