Devastated to report that we had to let our beloved dachshund Clara go in the wake of a Cushing's-exacerbated heath crisis, despite the heroic efforts of the VCA vets. We are heartbroken, but what a privilege it was to be one of her people & to be there for her at the end. Godspeed, precious girl.

Two of my choirs have wrapped up their seasons, one church choir wraps up its season this Sunday, and then I will be down to only weekly Evensongs for the summer (unless I get called in to sub or either choir gets hired for summer gigs).

Got my music for this Sunday's Eastertide Lessons & Carols service yesterday, and I'm relieved that I already know seven of the eleven programmed pieces. LFG L&C!

It's been a while since so many strangers and acquaintances admired my buns! Hooray for May the Fourth falling on a Sunday! Also fun: responding to "May the Force be with you," with "And with thy spirit."
