If you're 60, 69.1% of all job growth since your birth occurred under Democratic administrations.

If you're 45, that number is 74.7%.

If you're under 30, the number is 100%.

I’ve seen some NPS hate over this. Please know it was not NPS staff who removed the wording.
The removal of a transgender reference from the National Park Service’s Stonewall website wasn’t done by NPS staff. Elon, care to elaborate?

One of my former library kids, who is in grad school in NYC now, texted me at 1 AM. “America is over now, isn’t it?” For 15 years, the focus of my career was mentoring these kids, reminding them of what they had to offer the world, cheering them into the future. They deserved better than this.

Congress was denied entry to both the U.S. Department of Education and the Treasury, where Musk staffers blocked the doors. Along with its appropriations responsibilities, Congress holds oversight authority over federal agencies. Blocking congressional access to these agencies is illegal.

When I was a theater student in Dublin and couldn’t afford a TV license, one of the few shows I got was Captain Scarlet. I used to laugh when the villain announced their exact plans down to the detail and then dared him to catch them. But that’s exactly what Trump did and who’s going to stop him?

National Park workers (and all federal employees) are being advised not to open emails from OPM, which is the official line of communication for all federal workers. My husband says they are getting really weird emails from OPM.

The Inspectors General refuse to leave until the action is taken legally, which they do not believe it was, and neither do senators like Chuck Grassley. This is what not backing down looks like.

My husband is the stone mason at Acadia National Park. He has been with the Park Service for 20 years and park workers are some of the smartest, most passionate, and highly skilled people I’ve ever known. Trump couldn’t shine their shoes.
The Trump administration has required that all communications and social media posts from federal agencies undergo prior approval before being shared. This directive is currently in effect until the end of the month.

David Lynch was a big part of me figuring out what kind of art I liked. My teenage years were spent drinking black coffee and watching Twin Peaks with friends every week. Artists are weird. He never apologized for that. #davidlynch

My wish for everyone in 2025 is that all creators can purge the word "content" from their lexicon
you're not making content my friend you are making vlogs, webcomics, sculpture, paintings, crafts, zines, music, etc etc just tell people what you make
