Watched 2 eps of #betweenthecovers last night. Shame mentions of ‘trashy fiction’ and ‘only detective novels’ abounded. Too much literary snobbishness! Please keep celebrating ALL fiction and ALL readers. No judgment!

This was my first saga series published by Arrow. One again inspired by my family history. So many of my ancestors worked in the cotton mills of Lancashire!

So, I’ll make a start on the book covers! These are the first two in a three part series published by Penguin Michael Joseph and inspired by my discovery that I have Irish great, great grandparents. Book 3 is out next February.
