I've been a UConn Huskies fan since 1995. Have been on the Boneyard since.. 2000? 20001? But this is the first year I paid attention to social media and boy oh boy. The amount of hatred, venom and abuse these players and coaches get is appalling. I'm l shocked by some of the stuff I'm reading.

Speaking of traveling, I just booked a day tour to the Armenian quarter and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and same day, at night, a walking tour of the Christian quarter... on Christmas Eve!

This is the first time since they started broadcasting it, that I'm not watching the World Rugby 7s world series. I 'm disillusioned with this Sport and its' "stars". The way it is run, the safety of players, the inconsistency of referees, antisemitism... I don't miss it at all.

I get really, really bored on long flights. Or flights, period. Long haul flights freak me out, and I usually have like 20 new books on my kindle, short stories, 3 seasons of a new show and 5 movies I want to watch.

Well, I said that I will run a minimum of 20k a week, and I'm currently at 18k so I'm going out to run 2k around the block. First run outside since Oct 7, 2023.

Season 2 of Sprint was really lame compared to season 1. No emotional depth, nothing. The really big dramas were left untouched. I donno... shame, S1 was SO good, we couldn't stop watching. Maybe go to longer distances - there are some fantastic stories there.

Watched episode 3 of Sprint today. It's a nice watch, but honestly, S1 was much better, and they somehow managed to turn the whole women's 100m semi final drama to a snoozefest. Also, N.Lyles is really, really meh. Uber meh.

Well... I never had that, but I do remember reading a book, literally clapping and then going back to page 1 and reading from the top. The Book was "Annie on my mind", by Nancy Garden. What a terrific read that was!
You ever read a book, finish it, and just want to sob? Just finished a book with the most gut wrenching ending and now I don’t know what to do except stare at a wall or sleep 😭

Is there no way to get from Hartford to JFK without spending over 200$??? Was hoping to use Amtrak, but apparently, you travel with suitcases on that route.
