one barrier i relate to is lack of time to plan, shop, prepared and cook healthy foods. it is hard now because iam a full time student with responsibilities, while in the summer it was easy because i had easy access to groceries and cook, while in the gym. #beh353 @beh353.bsky.social

I seen a Master Cleanse diet, it shows that it detoxifies the body. It is strictly a juice fast, consisting of lemonade made with cayenne pepper and maple syrup. How much detoxification does the body really need? Isnt our body capable of doing everything itself? @beh353.bsky.social #beh353

I usually make my morning smoothie with frozen prepackaged fruits, a fresh banana, and orange juice. while this seems already healthy, I can make it nutrient dense by using fresh fruit and water to make my smoothie to keep it natural ingredients and better taste. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353

As someone who is used to tracking down her meals and nutrient intake because I usually workout often, I feel it was easy to do during the 24 hr recall. However I still feel like Im lacking some vitamins and minerals. Its definitely a work in progress. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353

I found it intriguing that Fats are needed for nutrient absorption. I always thought fats are not good for us but in order to benefit fat soluble vitamins, we need fat. I am intrigued to apply this more into my daily meals. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353

Its interesting because oil brands have misleading information and statements regarding which one is "cholesterol free" or which ones are "pure". The good oils usually say "extra virgin" or "no preservatives". Its hard to differentiate between which ones are "healthy" or
good for personal needs.
