@trigonella Ente seems to be a popular choice for a hosted service (haven't personally tried them/can't speak to their editing capabilities).

I'm using Immich, which is self-hosted, and works/feels a lot like Google Photos- the built-in editing is pretty minimal (crop/rotate/filters) though.
