Tbf, and we both know I'm not a massive fan, I think his point was more that these calls are very subjective which makes it more complicated. I think the telling factor is var essentially just left the on field decision alone in each case.

"Some people are awful" isn't exactly a revelation. I don't need a study of 1700 people to tell me this. I'm also pretty confident that if they aligned this to political affiliation, we wouldn't be surprised with the outcome.

I thought it might be mosquera. I agree on the backup argument but given Hincapié hasn't really played I thought mosquera might be preferred for this game.

After @arsenalvisionpodcast.com repeatedly said they'd be 1 point behind going into tomorrows game, I'm feeling a lot more relaxed now! Tomorrow feels a bit less crucial now. I'd love a win, but a draw would still increase the gap.

If they actually cared about piracy, there would be one streaming/tv platform per league and for a flat fee you'd get access to every match. But they don't, so we don't. Most are paying over a grand a year purely for these games and still not getting to watch them all.

I agree with all of this. It's really unfortunate, feels very unfair, but it's completely explainable. I wonder if international managers need to start thinking about 45 minutes for these games, especially for players who are playing a lot already. Do the old "sub everyone" thing that we used to see
