Oh absolutely, I just hope that they’ll do it in a way that is as 2016-proof as possible. Open source is what revived pebble and it’s the only way to guarantee its future.

From the perspective of a user and developer, I want the ecosystem to be built for longevity and that includes planning for a future where either Core Devices or Rebble no longer exist. Open interfaces, open access.
