Matthews is simply washed, not more to say. He’ll be just as bad when he comes back and in all honesty i’d rather Kampf be given a long leash in a top 6 role.

I love how everything I say takes an instant turnaround. Critiqued the Knies-Matthews-Marner line, that aged well. Now I critique McMann and he looks like last seasons McMann lmao

Realistically, trying Robertson in an increased role over McMann can’t hurt to try

Fair enough, he struggles to create offence for himself which is why I think in a improved role you get better value out of that shot. He had limited success with a playmaker like Domi last szn (not this szn as Domi is beyond brutal), Nylander is also an elite playmaker.

I want to see Robertson get a long leash in the top 6 before anything. You’re not getting value out of him when he’s forced to chip and chase with McMann/Holmberg, and if they are to trade him without doing this, it’s poor asset management similar to Liljegren in a way imo.
