Ps, yes Kraven is dying. This fits the concept of ‘life’ as well as Sin Eater failing to understand the point of life. The consequences and sins is a core point of life so we learn and grow from it

Raimi’s films do. The first was about responsibility, the second was choices, the third was forgiveness, the forth is about life. Mary Jane gives birth to their daughter. We meet her through Peter’s eyes. She’s named after Pete’s Aunt who has passed between films.

We see her grave as Peter 🧵

believing he is taking on others sins by killing them. We have Kraven pretending to be a hero, Sin Eater feeling he is a hero and Spider-Man truly accepting he needs to not just be a hero anymore. He needs to be a father and, eventually a husband.

Really make this feel the most like an action horror film. When Kraven shows up that’s when the genre should shift.
I’d have Kraven wear the costume and try and save New York. Taking down villains such as villain number two. SIN EATER! I feel this is a great villain. Trying to be a “hero”🧵

So, when MJ finds out she’s pregnant her and Pete’s world flips. But is the final step they need to accept they aren’t leaving each other and are sticking together.

Pete is still at the staff job in the Bugle and even bossing JJJ around at points creating a fun new wrinkle to the dynamic.
MJ is Midtown High’s Drama teacher. She is well liked and is basically filling the role JSM Pete had as a teacher in the 2000’s. Looking after the kids the way she wishes 🧵

So I don’t think Pete and MJ should be married. They should be together and have their own home but the idea of marriage and that commitment scares them still because whilst they are strong and have moved passed their issues the consequences of Spider-Man 3 should be felt 🧵

So we build this dynamic and make it feel worth while for a World’s Finest film which is where we explore the Superman and Dick Grayson dynamic and where Bruce incorporates a little more blue and yellow to his costume. This leads to Dick becoming Nightwing in Bludhaven and we get a solo film

But Dick is kind, he shows optimism in a way Bruce hasn’t seen. Gotham is still dark, grimy and evil but Robin is this beacon of light that wants to help. He is hope. We find what gave him the hope, Superman.

He gets his hope from Superman but his courage to take trauma to be better from Bruce

Batman learned at the end of the first film to not be about Vengeance but to be Hope. But he struggles to be hopeful. All the criminals just remind him of his parents death still. It’s only when he meets Dick Grayson that this dynamic changes him. We get a Whiplash style dynamic between them 2/?

It’s one of those ideas that feels like
it just fell from the sky. “Of course we need to see that story” kind of deals. Hickman is writing USM now and whilst I love that series it lacks a lot of these little moments that I wish he brought to it
