The Singaporeans are giving out free beer made from recycled toilet water at the COP29 climate summit. “At first their eyes widen,” one of the leaders of Singapore’s youth delegation said. “Then we reassure them. They’re usually coming back the next day for another.”

First full day out of the sling - just four weeks after an experiment with lateral cycling in Parliament Square... hopefully back on 2 wheels in Jan... I need a gentle 200 audax to aim for in Feb methinks, perhaps it's time to try a new one...
