All I can remember from my time in Secondary school is the term “acceleration is the rate of change of velocity “. It’s imprinted in my brain somewhere along with Ár nAthair and the words to bohemian rhapsody . A strange mix indeed 😵‍💫

There is no greater pleasure than falling asleep mid page during a bout of night time reading. on many occasions I’ve drifted off ,only to be awakened by the loud thud of a novel on the floor. If it’s a particularly dry read , I always line up some popular fiction to give the mind a break .

At this stage ,my house is structurally supported by various piles of literary fiction . It is now hard to tell if there was ever floor space beneath … great insulation all the same haha

There’s an awful whiff of gaslighting off the whole thing . I’d be of a similar generation , rural based in Limerick and I’d find it hard to name someone who didn’t know Blindboy . There’s more to rural culture than the clichéd trash you’d hear from these people on a regular basis .
