This flexible model really works. One size doesn't fit all, and assessments can adapt. When we personalise learning and assessment, everyone wins.

We linked this to their music course, discussing how streaming services use their data - both for good (better recommendations, personalised playlists) and bad (tracking, monetisation). Even then, most weren’t too concerned. Many felt they were just a tiny piece of a massive system, so why worry?

What I find ironic: older folks assume “digital natives” are better at navigating the online world, but many are clueless when it comes to being digitally vigilant citizens. Are we overestimating their digital literacy?

Three services for me yesterday - Christingle at United Church Lye, Communion at Wollaston Methodist Church, then Midnight Service (on the cornet!) at Kingswinford Methodist Church. 🎹🎺 It’s nice to have an excuse to blast Hark! the Herald!!

I don’t think grouping all the “Natives” together is particularly useful, especially when their digital literacies are so varied. I’m planning to try White’s (2011) “Visitors and Residents” mapping in the New Year with my tutorial group.
