only about 2 months ago i bought a a7c2 after i saw they finally made a decent menu system. and i liked the size because adapting voigtl lenses on l-mount ..no exif, front heavy. so now I also have lenses in 2 mounts. like you said, there's no apex camera yet.

20y ago using a sony cybershot, i noticed that they have great engineers but not programmers. oversharpened fotos. it puzzled me to no end how such a mega company failed to notice & rectify their lack in IT.

Would still be great though if you get your hands on a S1ii to report real life/birding performance. Looks like their best hybrid yet in that direction.
