Mar-a-Lago is a "Gatsby" house. Gatsby's mansion, like Mar-a-Lago, was a horrendous pastiche of historical international styles that includes "Marie Antoinette music rooms and Restoration Salons." In the end, Fitzgerald judges Gatsby's mansion as "that huge incoherent failure of a house." Ugh!
