Ok, I didn’t find a shirt with exactly that—I thought I might—but a quick search did lead to this choice visual.

Something I wrote in a real business email today, for all of you who also have jobs so broad that people come to you with random requests that don’t seem to fit anywhere else.

Took my two boys to the zoo. Rode in on the Metro and walked wherever we wanted all day. Took pics at Metro Center to document the ad placements because the marketer hat stays on 24/7. People of all sorts and ages just minding their business and having a day. What a hellhole.

Nostalgia for the summer a friend and I drove from Maryland to California and back (south route one way, north route back) using just this bad boy. No phones, no GPS, no traffic warnings, just out there wandering around and squinting at tiny type in a giant book.

It’s especially pervasive in the evangelical communities who are so plugged in already and actively talking themselves into whatever chaos has been coming down the pike. I mean, how do you break through the mindset that if it’s happening, God must be on board already?
