My FB feed (I have it to keep in contact with some family) is full of people trying to defend it saying "he's giving his heart to the crowd" or "he's saying thanks with his heart". I've said thanks with while gesturing from my heart, THIS WASN'T EVEN CLOSE!! People are so far gone from reality.

Yes! Why not?? So many think we do! I honestly was one of them who thought we had great things. I have learned so much lately and am sick about it. I live in small town NW Iowa surrounded by people who think everything is great and is only going to get better. It's incredibly lonely and isolating.

It's sad, but not shocking. I wish more Americans would open their eyes and see this. I know so many that choose to keep them closed completely because it's easier to not think about it at all or they just don't think it's not possible.
